About 'Titled'

Written, directed, and performed by singer/songwriter and filmmaker Lana MacIver, comes 'Titled', Lana's debut single.

'Titled' is a song that was originally inspired from a somewhat disappointing phone call Lana had with a professional psychic about her future. The psychic couldn't give Lana any real answers to her questions due to legal constraints. At the time, being 18 years old, she was feeling lost and alone in such a vast city like London and was looking for answers. In the end, Lana found her way by using her bitter love affair and loneliness as an experience to help guide her into her coming of age.

The video is an art piece created by Lebanese/ Scottish filmmaker Lana MacIver and Mozarteum University of Salzburgart student, art director Anna Schoettl. Anna is based in Salzburg and Lana in London, so the concept was formed over various skype calls, emails, and art board swaps - a truly 21st century collaboration. The themes explored in the video are balance, regret, and the loss of love and trust.

The girls had to work within a shoe string budget, with Lana herself posing as a nude model to earn some extra cash to finance the piece and Anna befriending the burly men of the technical department at the theatre in Salzburg in order to attain costumes and set pieces.

The video stars one of the UK's only high wire walkers, Ellis Grover, actress Amy Kakoura, and violinist Asmund Jenssen. The story revolves around four unusual characters who's paths cross through a love affair gone sour.
